Becoming a manager represents a new way of seeing the world of work. It is as much about a shift in mindset as anything else. It requires a transition from a primary focus on self to a commitment to enabling others to be successful. This shift is essential for anyone aspiring to be an effective leader.
In this comprehensive program, learners will come to see that the manager's role is very much about delivering results through the coordinated activities of the people who work for them. Therefore, Welcome to Management focuses on teaching managers about the personality-based, relational aspects of becoming a people manager and the skills that will enable them to accelerate their development and growth.
Ultimately, it's about realizing your potential as a leader by enabling people to realize their true potential. Welcome to Management was created to help new managers learn how to do just that, providing them with the tools and knowledge necessary to succeed.
The program is designed so that the training videos can be taken in sequence, or you can dive in just about anywhere that interests you. The course has been broken down into 'microlearning' modules, so you can always come back to the program when you need a refresher or are preparing to apply some of the models and tools. This flexibility ensures that you can learn at your own pace and revisit the material as needed!

Within the course, learners can choose to view the content in the following languages: Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, Canadian French, Chinese (Simplified, Traditional, Mandarin, Taiwanese), Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, European French, European Portuguese, European Spanish, German, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin American Spanish, Latvian, Malay, Polish, Punjabi, Romanian, Russian, Swedish, Tagalog, Thai, Turkish, Vietnamese
